Holidays on the Beach in Christchurch

Two more pictures from Dorset. Mudeford Quay which is literally a stones throw from Hengistbury Head and the Beach Cafe which is on Mudeford Sandspit. The Quay is a favourite place for children to go crabbing with an hook and line. In the background of the Cafe picture you can see the Needles Lighthouse at the end of Isle of Wight and the foreground is Christchurch Harbour. From the Quayside you can take a ferry across to the Head or into Christchurch. The house, called the Black House, in the foreground of the Mudeford picture can is split into several houses which are let out in the summer for holiday makers.
